MORE ABOUT ME

I’m Kriss, a Wildlife Filmmaker and a Media Diver from Transylvania, Romania. I’m now based in Bristol, UK, but I spend most of my time filming unique stories around the world.

I am passionate about science communication, wildlife and environmental stories, with filming experience in the UK, Scotland, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Canary Islands, the Maldives and Guadalupe Island Biosphere Reserve, Mexico.

I started travelling around 10 years ago, with a desire to make films that matter, especially for our environment and for local communities.

At the moment, I am working to specialise as an Assistant Camera Operator. I have an MA in Wildlife Filmmaking (UWE 2018/2019), I am an Open Water Instructor and an HSE Commercial Scuba diver.

Through filmmaking, I hope to share unique stories and I am especially interested in projects with community involvement. I have experience shooting on REDs, Sonys and Panasonic cameras. I own a Sony A7S II, underwater housing, Ronin S, radio mics, Zoom H6 audio recorder, full underwater diving kit.
